18 year old Callum Hudson Odoi scored in the 64th minute for Chelsea tonight against Sheffield Wednesday as the Blues secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup.

Transfer rumours and speculation have been heavily circulating over this January transfer window regarding Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi. The uncertainty of his future at Chelsea still remains very unclear. However this being the case, it appears that the youngster is now ready to move on as he handed in a transfer request. Much to Chelsea fans dismay it appears that his heart no longer remains at the club and he is ready to move to the German giants.

Understandably many Chelsea fans want him to stay. He is a young player with a bright future and he has got an immense amount of talent. The youngster started for the Blues tonight and had yet another strong performance. Then, he secured himself on the score sheet as he netted a convincing goal in the 64th minute of the game which helped Chelsea to progress to the next round of the FA Cup.

Chelsea fans made their statement very clear during the game as to how they feel towards him. They sung his name loud and proud and chanted that they want him to stay. His strong performances always go noticed by Blues fans. At the end of the 90 minutes the youngster handed his shirt over to a Chelsea fan in the crowd.

After the final whistle Odoi was understandably questioned about his future at the South West London team.  When questioned if this was going to be his last game in a Chelsea shirt he said: “I don’t know. I can’t say. But you know I just keep working hard and you never know what happens.”

However, everyone knows the temptation is there as a potential successful future at Bayern Munich awaits him.  The winger has been offered a deal by the German Giants who aren’t backing doing. They are very adamant to sign him.  Odoi knows as well as regular playing time there he could be potentially making up to £80,000 a week if he joins them.

The question that everybody wants to know is if he is going to stay at Chelsea. The winger still has 18 months left on his contract and the big question is he going to be at the team for that long to fulfil that. When questioned about moving to Bayern he said: “I can’t say. I haven’t. I haven’t had a chat.”

The worrying prospect for Chelsea fans is if he is going to still be at the club at the end of the January transfer window.
