The Blues are obviously under a transfer ban, as things stand. But this hasn’t stopped the rumours regarding potential new signings being sought.

Chelsea will of course be planning for life with a ban, and life without it. They remain confident that the ban will at least be frozen this summer, allowing them to sign players.

The hearing happened yesterday as Chelsea asked to appeal. We are yet to hear any results from this, with a lot of technicalities involved we might hear today, or we might hear in four weeks time!

This morning, The Telegraph report that a number of Premier League clubs are showing a keen interest in signing Ajax’s exciting winger David Neres, and that Chelsea are one of these clubs.

Neres is a 22-year old Brazilian international, and he has caught the eye of the majority of the big teams in Europe after another impressive season playing in the Eredivisie.

This season the young starlet has clocked up 21 direct goal involvements in 39 appearances, and he gets off 1.5 shots per game, and makes 1.9 dribbles.

Neres though, is a sought after talent, and may well be just another pipe dream for Chelsea as they await their transfer ban fate.
