The Loanees Report

Over the last couple of days, some of the Chelsea players on loan impressed heavily, especially some of the ones in the Championship. Here’s a small article summarising some of the great performances.

The one which you would have seen the most on Twitter was a hat-trick from Mason Mount. All three goals were brilliantly executed, and nontheless a performance which impressed many. Obviously Man of the Match.

Mount’s team-mate at Derby too Fikayo Tomori also deserves honourable mention as he was announced as Derby’s Supporters’ Player of the Season.

Tammy Abraham also got a goal from the penalty spot in his game yesterday, taking him to 24 goals this season. His penalty was taken with composure and there were no nerves despite missing one four days earlier.

Midweek Jay Dasilva also managed to pick up the Man of the Match award, after getting an assist. He had also started his previous three games, making the four in a row his longest run in the Championship with Bristol.

Not much else needs to be said about Reece James, then what a talented player he is. He scored today from the spot and picked up the Man of the Match award, not for the first time with Wigan!

A striker which not many Chelsea fans will want to see again Alvaro Morata also scored his fifth goal in Spain, already matching his total for Chelsea this year.

Lewis Baker also managed to pick up two assists over the last week, while he impresses for Reading when he gets his opportunities.

That’s all from the Loan Report. Make sure to check out my article talking about why Mason Mount is good enough for Chelsea, including some exclusives which only Chelsea Echo followers can find out!
