The Chelsea Echo understands that Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to pen a new 5-year contract at Chelsea, despite interest from elsewhere.

Currently nursing an Achilles injury, Hudson-Odoi is expected to give Chelsea fans some positive news this summer, by committing his future to the club.

The 18-year started 4 matches in a row for Maurizio Sarri before his injury, and had become an important member of the first team squad.

It’s said that assurances over his role at the club, will be enough to convince him to sign a new long term deal with the club he’s been with since he age of 8.
