The draw for the EFL Trophy, also known as the Checkatrade trophy, occured today.

This time there are 48 teams in the trophy, all featuring Premier League U-21 Teams as well as the first teams from the League One and League Two.

The Chelsea U-21 are in Group F of the Southern Bracket, where we face Swindon Town, Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle.

The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stages.

Previously, Chelsea have had some great moments in the competition, such as beating Oxford United in a tense penalty shootout.

Although last year wasn’t the best, they also had some great moments and were slightly unlucky.

Make sure to follow the Chelsea U-21 team in this competition, as well as looking out for some of the players who could possibly train with the first team.
