Chelsea have announced today that Frank Lampard and the Chelsea first-team squad will be taking part in a ‘special’ open training session at Stamford Bridge in August, with supporters welcomed to come and watch.

Lampard and his backroom staff will be making sure that the players will be going through their paces and showcasing their skills to 5,000 people on August 21st, three days after Chelsea’s first home game of the 2019-20 Premier League season against Leicester City.

The event will begin at 9.30am, with a host of activities being available to those in attendance, before the training due to start on the pitch later that morning.

With there being just 5,000 tickets available, they are sure to be snapped pretty quickly. If you are a season ticket holder or a club member, then you can secure your ticket(s) now. General sale for any remaining tickets will start this Wednesday – July 17th – at 9am.

Those who purchase will only be allowed to buy a maximum of four tickets per transaction and one per person, as this will then allow fans to sit with their family and friends.

I’ll be (hopefully) planning to be going myself, so hope to see you there.
