Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer has today completed a permanent transfer to Bristol City.
Palmer has signed a 4-year contract with Bristol after the Championship club agreed an undisclosed fee with Chelsea. The deal is believed to have been worth around £4.5M.
Palmer made 17 appearances for The Robins last season on loan, scoring twice and impressing from the attacking midfield position.
Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson was quoted saying “I’ve been really impressed with his [Palmer’s] application and focus” and went on to claim that the player and club will be a “fantastic match.”
The 22-year-old academy graduate was a key part of Chelsea’s youth team success, winning the FA Youth Cup as well as the UEFA Youth League with the Blues.
All the best for the future, Kasey!
