Mason Mount picked up a knock against Norwhich on the weekend after being involved in two clashes with the opposition, and had to be substituted off. He pointed towards his calf as well as his ankle, which were the two places where he was hit.
However, Mason Mount was pictured back in training today, even including some extra practice with Lampard and Abraham on shooting, with Caballero in goal.
The Chelsea Echo also understand that Mount will be ready for Saturday if he is picked, and it was only a minor knock which he easily shrugged off.
This is exciting to hear as the young English midfielder has become a fan favourite at the club right now, and is on top form having two goals in three Premier League starts.
He also would be happy to see it was only a minor injury, with the England squad announcement coming tomorrow and with Mount being heavily rumoured to be joining Gareth Southgate’s team.
