Another Blues legend coming back ‘home’ to SW6

In news that has been expected for a while now but was finally confirmed today, Ashley Cole has confirmed he will be returning to Chelsea to take up a coaching role.

Cole, who recently announced his retirement from professional football, revealed earlier today he will return to Stamford Bridge to work under his former team-mate Frank Lampard and take up the role as Under-15s coach at Cobham.

“I’ve worked under some great managers, took a lot from them so I will go back to Chelsea and work with their under-15s and see where it goes from there.”
