After a year out of Europe’s elite competition, Chelsea are back in the UEFA Champions League having finished 3rd in the Premier League last season, as well as winning the UEFA Europa League.

The Blues will host Valencia next Tuesday in hope of kicking their European campaign off with a win, and have today submitted the official squad list for the 2019/20 competition.

The list is separated into two sections: List A and List B.

The first list can have no more than 25 players on it, and just like for the Premier League, a minimum of eight players have to be homegrown if the full 25-man squad is submitted.

List B is for players born after 1st January 1998 and have been eligible to play for the club for an uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday. The list does not have a limit, so clubs are free to name as many players as they want, as long as they comply with the regulations.
