As Frank Lampard managed to get another win over his former coaches in Carlo Ancelotti, it’s time to get into the player ratings as Chelsea thumped Everton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.

1. Kepa Arrizabalaga: 7

Had decent game, he didn’t have to deal with to much today. But signs of improvement have been noted since he was dropped. Collecting the ball in air and the handling for it has massively improved. Was solid today and hopefully he stays consistent.

2. Cesar Azpilicueta: 8

Was solid today defensively, going forward he was better than usual. Didn’t put in a foot wrong today and dealt with dangerous situations quite well.

3. Antonio Rudiger: 8

He continued from his brilliant performance against Liverpool and showed today what he is capable of. Dealt well with Richarlison and he did not let him have any impact on the game.

4. Kurt Zouma: 6

Probably the only one today who has some shaky moments in the game. Almost gifted a goal to Everton in the first half. But other than that he was pretty solid and did well to deal with Calwert Lewin.

5. Marcos Alonso: 7

He was not on the scoresheet today but he still performed very well. Linked up well with the likes of Mason, Pedro and Gilmour. Going forward he could have improved but defensively he put in a good shift.

6. Billy Gilmour: 9

Another performance to adore, he was a joy to watch today and made everything look so easy. Was gliding through the midfield and some of his passes were outstanding. His determination to win the ball back as well was just really satisfying to see.

7. Ross Barkley: 9

Ross Barkley who turned up against his old club and put in a really good performance. He was rewarded with two assists and he created a lot of good chances today and played up to his potential. He has to be consistent and try to stay fit if he wants to play week in week out.

8. Mason Mount: 9

Another midfielder who really put in a good shift today, he scored a remarkable goal to put the blues in front. He was taking on players, creating chances, and his work rate as well off the ball was outstanding. He was subbed off for Reece James and he deserved a break after such a energetic performance.

9. Willian: 9

He usually does not get such high ratings from us fans, but today he deserves it. Scored a fantastic goal to put the game to bed. Even managed to get a assist today. Worked his socks off and was a key part in today’s victory for the blues.

10. Pedro: 9

He has not been getting a lot of game time this season, but he stepped up today. Managed to double Chelsea’s lead as Barkley provided him with a beautiful through ball and he made no mistake as he managed to find the back of the net. Just like Willian he worked his socks of today and performed to the best of his capabilities.

11. Oliver Giroud: 8

The Frenchmen put in another great performance. His hold up play was a joy to watch. Got a goal which he throughly deserved as he tapped the ball inside the back of the net after a stunning cross from Willian. He keeps proving to Frank Lampard that why he should be starting week in week out.

Reece James: 7

Came off the bench today and played in Central Midfield. Did a fine job there, he carried on from what mason Mount was doing as he kept taking on players and made sure he made the right pass.

Anjorin: 6

Looked energetic when he came on, did not have much to do. It was nice to see him making his debut for the club.

Armando Broja: 5

He came on with 5 minutes to go, he made his Chelsea debut today and got his first taste of what the premier league is like when he was taken completely taken off by holgate.

Frank Lampard: 10

Picked the players he had available to him and got the tactics spot on. Playing Billy Gilmour paid off as he put in another terrific performance. Got the team pressuring Everton from the first minute and was rewarded with a goal. Made the right substitutions as he got Mason off for Reece in order to give him some rest. Gave the youngsters a chance. If Lampard is backed in the summer and some quality players are added into this squad he can take Chelsea to another level.
