Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 Chelsea

It would be rude not to include a match this campaign, given the success Lampard has managed, and because we wanted to give him a birthday present.

Although the season isn’t over yet, and there’s still a lot of work to do, in terms of the circumstances (such as a transfer ban), we think the gaffer’s done a pretty decent job.

There were a few standout league performances to choose from this season, including the impressive 5-2 against Wolves and the late winner at the Emirates, resulting in a 2-1 win to the Blues. However, the 2-0 win over Spurs during the Christmas period was a special moment for Lampard.

Going up against his former boss, Chelsea simply outclassed Mourinho’s Tottenham. An early goal from Willian put us in the driving seat, before the Brazilian netted a penalty just before half-time. When Son was sent off in the early moments of the second half, we knew the victory was ours.

Now, with tomorrow’s fixture against Aston Villa fast approaching, we can’t wait to see what the gaffer has in the locker, tomorrow, next week, and next year…
