Chelsea football club have placed an enormous price of £80million on World Cup winner, N’Golo Kante.
The Express reports Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is desperate to sign his former player who he worked with for two seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Conte signed Kante from Leicester City for £30million following his remarkable campaign that saw Leicester City win the Premier League.
However, the Serie A club will have to spend big to secure the signature of the French international.
In recent seasons, especially last season, Kante struggled with injuries which has led to reports that Frank Lampard is happy to cash in on the 29-year-old.
The valuation the Blues have quoted for Kante is clearly a fee which won’t be approachable for any suitor, especially in the current financial difficulties caused by COVID-19.
If Inter aren’t convinced by the price tag, Conte will look to bring in Arturo Vidal from FC Barcelona as he looks set to leave the Camp Nou. The Inter boss worked with the Chilean previously when Conte was manager of Juventus.
