Chelsea signing Malang Sarr is expected to go out on loan with Bayer Leverkusen a potential destination for the youngster.
The Kai Havertz deal has been dragged on for a few weeks now, but, it does look like there are no hard feelings between the two clubs as more business looks to be completed in this transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Havertz has already agreed terms on a move to Stamford Bridge and said that Chelsea will loan out Sarr for the 20/21 season.
The 21-year-old is seen for one for the future at Stamford Bridge. For now, allowing him to secure a move on loan, potentially Leverkusen will give him valuable experience and is ideal for his development.
Frank Lampard already has five centre-backs to choose from after the club confirmed the signing of 35-year-old defender Thiago Silva. The Chelsea boss will most likely partner Silva alongside Kurt Zouma or Antonio Rudiger for next season, with Sarr hopefully the long term replacement for Silva.
