Chelsea star Kai Havertz has no fear of taking on champions Liverpool in the Premier League and is confident there are elements of the Brighton game which were positive.

Frank Lampard will expect that most of the clubs summer signings will be in the match day squad when they face off against the champions on Sunday.

And the German international does not have any fear of Jurgen Klopp’s side, after helping his team to an impressive away win over Brighton in their opening game of the season.

Asked about the upcoming Liverpool game, he told the Evening Standard: “Of course they are one of the best teams in the world.

“We show respect but we are a very great team as well.

“It will be a very hard game but for them also.

“We will work hard and I think we will have a chance to take points.”
