Tottenham have handed a bye into the EFL Cup fourth round after their fixture against Leyton Orient couldn’t be completed this week.
Spurs will take on Chelsea next week as a result. Frank Lampard will be going up against his former blues boss Jose Mourinho next week, a fixture that Lampard prevailed on both occasions last season.
Orient were due to host the third round clash against Tottenham on Tuesday but the match was postponed after the east London club confirmed a number of positive Covid-19 tests.
Now the EFL have confirmed Tottenham are through into the fourth round.
