Chelsea host Sheffield United in the evening kick-off at Stamford Bridge this evening. The visitors are without a win in the Premier League this season and were unbeaten against the West London side. As for the hosts, unbeaten in their last 10 fixtures and Frank Lampard will see this match as an opportunity of extending that run against the Blades.

Once again, The Chelsea Echo team give their predictions and how they think the game will unfold.

Jordan Bright (@TheKFCKezman)
2-0, it’s gonna be a scrappy one, but we’ll power through it. The fact they can’t play Ampadu against us will be a massive boost.

Cam (@camlwelsh)
The contrast between Sheffield United and Chelsea’s form set the blues up for what should be a routine win against the Blades, along with Burnley, the only winless side in the Premier League. But, Chelsea failed to beat the blades last season, with Wilder’s tactics causing problems home and away. Score prediction: 2-0 Chelsea

Chelsea will (hopefully) be able to keep yet another clean sheet today against a struggling Sheffield. I can’t see there being many goals, but two from the Blues will be enough: 2-0 to Chelsea.

Louis Beneventi (@Louis_Beneventi)
3-1. As much as I’d like to think our clean sheet run may continue, I’ve got a funny feeling it might come to an end. Despite Sheffield United’s poor form, part of me feels they might get one on us. But despite the negativity, their poor form also bodes well for Frank and the lads, who have been setting a blistering pace since Mendy’s arrival in the sticks. 3-1, Chels.

2-0 Chelsea win I am expecting to see a few changes in the Chelsea team today with the exclusions of Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic. However, even with these players absence I believe there will be enough quality in the team for a solid display and to come away with the 3 points against a struggling Sheffield Utd team. Goalscorer predictions: Mason Mount, Timo Werner.

Bobby Johnson (@Bobby_Johnson16)
I’m predicting a 3-0 win with goals from Abraham, Hudson-Odoi and Ziyech. Another assured win right before the international break and taking advantage of a Sheffield United team who haven’t started the season well.
